ISAAC VASQUEZ

Born in Sweden as part of the second generation of immigrants by a Chilean mother and a Persian father; Isaac grew up in a multicultural neighbourhood, the million-projects in southern Sweden. Since the age of three, Isaac expressed his emotions and thoughts through various artistic mediums but is most recognised as a photographer & musician.

After co-producing and releasing three albums with his former rap group “Side Effectz”, Isaac left the music production in 2015 to travel the world, explore his spiritual calling and develop his skills as a photographer.

Today Isaac has found his way back the music production, along with his voice through rhymes & songs to document his spiritual journey in his soon-to-be release solo-debut album “Reino Sobre Imperio” (Kingdom over empire).

THE ALBUM

After suffering from addictions & depression as a consequence of the Inadequate felling towards his surroundings, Isaac decided to surrender his life to Jesus in 2019.

Growing up more sensitive than the average person, Isaac learnt to find ways to escape and numb his emotions and pain at the age of thirteen. After suffering from addictions & depression as a consequence of the Inadequate felling towards his surroundings, Isaac decided to surrender his life to Jesus in 2019 after a broken relationship and severe spiritual attacks.

“Reino sobre imperio” is a 13 track album produced & written by Isaac Vasquez. The album includes collaborations with 15 musicians from Europe, Latin America and the U.S. The lyrical expression & influence is rooted in rap & reagge, inspired singing-melodies, over a production that crosses the urban hip-hop sound with South American folk music.

Reach out to the youth with his same life struggles to share his testimony and lead them to freedom where there is depression, exclusion & spiritual warfare.

MISSION

Through life experiences and his testimony, Isaac uses his creative craft as a musician and photographer to reach out to young people to tell his story and find creative collaboration.

By setting free & heal, we can grow new life-lasting roots through a caring community & teaching to later go back where we came from & bring more youth to freedom by using our giftings.
